It is not difficult to
prepare Darjeeling tea, as easy to prepare black, green tea or herbs. This type
of tea is regarded as one of the most beautiful and exotic flavors of tea, a
main factor in why it is usually more expensive than other teas. Therefore, the
making of your Darjeeling perfectly is all the more necessary.
The intensity of
the taste of the tea is up to you, but there are some clues of the Board of the
tea of India suggested to brew a perfect cup of Darjeeling.

- Water
- Tea cup
- Kettle
- Sugar (optional)
- Lemon (optional)
Instructions, how to prepare Darjeeling tea
1. I suggest you only
buy tea, which carrying the logo of Darjeeling - which is owned by the Board of
the India tea and certifies that 100 per cent of natural Darjeeling tea and not
a mixture. The logo shows a profile view of a man holding a sheet with the
words printed "Darjeeling" tea.
2. Boil clean, filtered
water in a tea Kettle or pot for approximately one minute continuously. Measure
the tea leaves, while the water starts to boil.
3. Use approximately 1
teaspoon of tea leaves per cup. You can use
tea infusers, or simply place the leaves in the cup, and pour when it is
brewed.
4. Pour boiling water
on the tea leaves, and let it stand for two to five minutes. In two minutes,
the tea will completely develop for the extraction of flavor and caffeine. After
two minutes, the leaves begin to produce tannin, which gives the tea a stronger
flavour, although it has calming intended effects (medical) on digestion.
Experiment with different processing until you reach a flavor that suits you.
5. Once the tea is
ready, drink the Darjeeling as it is, or you may also add milk, lemon essence,
sugar sweetener, or honey.
